Price Will Fight Skelton in December

British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion David Price will face former world title challenger Matt Skelton on December 1 in Aintree, Liverpool if he can dispatch of Audley Harrison this Saturday night at the Echo Arena.
According to the latest BoxNation TV schedule, Price, 29, will put his title on the line against the ‘Bedford Bear’ seven weeks after his fight with Harrison, which takes place this weekend, also on BoxNation.
45 year-old Skelton came out of self-imposed exile to give boxing another go last March and has so far beaten Tom Dallas and an obese Ladislav Kovarik on his way to an eight rounder on the Price v Harrison undercard.
A win for both, and the pair will clash at the famous racecourse in a pre-Christmas battle of the brutes, in what will surely be Skelton’s final attempt to regain a domestic belt.
