Entrepreneur Bean, Ed Soares criticizes the California Athletic Commission
Mon Oct 22, 2012 12:23 pm
The alleged errors in urine collection Rafael "Bean" Cavalcante for the drug test, which caught him by use of stanozolol, left his manager, Ed Soares, nonconformist. The manager did not like the way the State Athletic Commission of California (CSAC) handled the case, occurred after Brazil's victory over Mike Kyle in May.
"Again, this will show the joke that is the State Athletic Commission of California. It's just a bunch of idiots, man. I just can not believe that they feel there and admit they were wrong in the way they did. "Oh yes, we did this wrong, we did it. There was a line of custody, a chain of custody that was wrong. But, let's correct the next time. "For now, they still have a suspension of one year. It's completely ridiculous. I do not even know what to say, "Soares told The MMA Hour program, criticizing the head of the CSAC.
"I'll analyze it. In any court of law this would not happen. They basically gave the incorrect date on the paperwork, they had a urine sample taken from the wrong place. The chief inspector of the CSAC, Che Guevara, said he threw away the urine sample on day 18, which he did. It was another guy. The guy lied under oath. How can this be? If we were in a court of law, this case would have been thrown away. In the chain of custody, as you may have the wrong date, the wrong place where you took the sample, and still consider it correct? This is ridiculous. "
