Sean Wheelock named Commissioner of Kansas Athletic Commission

Former Bellator play by play announcer Sean Wheelock is staying in combat sports as he has been named as a Commissioner of the Kansas Athletic Commission.
The appointment of Wheelock as a Commissioner of Kansas Athletic Commission came on July 1 by Kansas Governor Sam Brownback.

“Sean is now a member of the Kansas Athletic Commission and we are excited about his appointment by Governor Sam Brownback and what it can bring to the State of Kansas,” said Boxing Commissioner Adam Roorbach in a statement to The MMA Report. “Sean was appointed on July 1st after a lengthy process of being considered for the commission. I personally welcome Sean to the commission and look forward to working with him in the future.”

Wheelock was unavailable for comment on his appointment as Commissioner of the Kansas Athletic Commission.
