No idea... I don't think anybody even knows it's happening.

No I know who he's fighting, it's some 1-0 asian guy, but is this event even airing on TV?

He is fighting "Atilla" Tolegen in Kazakhstan. We announced it on here a while ago.

I appreciate the effort, but that was damn frustrating to watch...
Why in the blue fucking blazes would the camera cut to the audience at the most pivotal moment of the match? Fucked up
!!!!!SPOILER!!!!
On the match... Aleks seems to have developed a propensity for eating overhand rights.
Also, considering his opponent was 3-1 (very little is known of him from what I can gather; perhaps he specialises in wrestling, who knows?), I was not particularly impressed with Aleks' performance, especially his takedown defence.
However, a win is a win... and I am glad to see him competing.

I think the opponent was a legit wrestler and that´s why he got Aleks to the ground. Aleks is back in the win column and hopefully he´ll be in M-1 title contention soon.Deadarmour wrote:I appreciate the effort, but that was damn frustrating to watch...

Kazakhs and Caucasians in general (Armenians, georgeians, etc.) were always good at wrestling. They were brutes on the old Soviet Olympic team and won many a medal..

Black people are better athletically at everything than people from the Caucasus.

I dunno, looked like he put on the fight of his life, but he is 3-2. I would not jump the gun on this guy. Maybe M-1 can sign him and we can have something to gauge. I think Malikov is legit tho..

Malikov is one of the biggest HW prospects right now.

this Khazak looks like he belongs in the UFC...his style would be loved and praised by the biased wrestling judges who give wins soley on take downs (no damage done on the ground)

Yes, he would destroy top ranked fighters Matt Mitrione and Pat Barry.RussianTopTeam wrote:this Khazak looks like he belongs in the UFC...his style would be loved and praised by the biased wrestling judges who give wins soley on take downs (no damage done on the ground)
