FILA and me

I am now the media coordinator for FILA. I am not a FILA employee, but will work on their soon-to-be-upgraded web site, providing content, media advice, etc. I will still be doing No Holds Barred and contributing to ADCC News. More details to come, as my trip to Europe was excellent, although I did come back with a head cold. Thanks, Eddie

Good for you Eddie. Wow... you are now the media co-ordinator for amateur MMA globally. Their movement will only get bigger and bigger. The UFC's Mark Ratner will have little say in worldwide grass roots amateur MMA.

Now they have video review. I did a whole show on the Abrahamian situation from 2008 right after it happened. They didn't have video review in 2008. The 2012 Olympics were much better, of course with some controversies since we all make mistakes. The biggest problem was the 74kg bronze medalist was caught doping, and since the IOC uses WADA standards and not those of the Nevada commission or UFC, he was stripped of his medal.

Great news Eddie! It's a lot more reassuring knowing a classy guy like yourself is out there covering and upholding honest and legitimate combat sports media. Keep up the great work as always and welcome back stateside.

Plenty of fruit and protein, and making sure to eat plenty. This is what Japanese tell me. Also I've heard that lots of green tea, and water/hot water from a Chinese friend.

Thanks. I have the green tea part down already. Green tea makers and distributors should sponsor combat sports, not steroids-r-us.

Raw garlic is the best thing for colds and flus in my opinion, I highly recommend it. That and tons of water + light fasting. Your body can focus more on healing if it's not busy digesting. This always knocks out any bug I get.

We will probably have a more formal announcement later in the week. A lot of us are beat after the world championships.
