Sports Illustrated Zuffa Shill Blames Everyone but Zuffa for Alvarez Mess

Oh really? Exactly how much? A couple of IOUs and "intends" money? How much would Alvarez get even if he is on a pay-per-view but not the main or co-main event, which typically are the only ones getting a ppv cut?

It is Zuffa which refused to offer more guaranteed money to Alvarez than Bellator, and they are the only ones spared by this hack for blame.

I couldn't agree more. bellator has a matching clause in the contract but how the hell are they supposed to match "maybe" and "what if" money.

Even though these contracts and contract disputes cause problems for the fighters competition is ultimately good for fighters and will drive up their earnings.

personally i think eddies better off in bellator. Eddies a star because hes a fighters fighter and has a tendency to bring it, and his ability to come back from knock downs is exciting. if he goes to zuffa they won't make the exciting match-ups people want, they'll give him to lay guida or something, he'll get wrestle humped and then where will he be? Zuffa will lose interest very quickly his PPV earnings and title shots may never even appear at all. which by the way is like a dollar on anything over like 300,000 buys or something, if hes on a crap card, which most are these days, or not even on a PPV, hes screwed. he could stay in bellator rack up some wins, and cash, stay on top easier and sign with Zuffa later, he should just try and get rid of that matching clause this time around so there is less problems.
