Cage Warriors 52 adds Redmond vs. Roberts, McDonough vs. Enlund

A lightweight bout between Paul Redmond (6-3) vs. Alexei Roberts (9-3) is the latest addition to the Cage Warriors 52 lineup.

Additionally, bantamweights Martin McDonough (9-4) and Alex Enlund (7-1) will meet in a swing bout at the March event, officials today announced.

Cage Warriors 52 takes place March 9 at HMV Forum in London, and as previously announced, welterweight champion Gael Grimaud (17-5) meets challenger Cathal Pendred (11-2-1) in the headliner. Broadcast and streaming plans will be announced shortly.

Redmond, an Irish fighter, is on a three-fight win streak. All of the wins – over Yuri Malko, Lewis Long and Ryan Roddy – have come via stoppage and in the Cage Warriors promotion. He meets British fighter Roberts, who make his promotional debut with three wins in his past four fights, and the victories have come in an average time of just 22 seconds.

McDonough, meanwhile, is a Welsh fighter who recently made his promotional debut with a first-round submission victory over Dino Gambatesa. That successful Cage Warriors debut marked his third straight win and his ninth stoppage in nine career wins. He now meets British fighter Enlund, who recently rebounded from his first career loss with a promotional-debut win over Ahsan Gilani, which came via 39-second TKO.
