If Silva, Hunt, and Gomi were to all win I'd go fucking bonkers with joy. Could lead to a depressing night if all lose though..
Anyways good to see Japan didn't get a total Zoofa shafting this time match-up-wise. Hopefully Hirota can help mix up the FW division some more.

I'm actually pretty impressed with this card. Feels kinda like a DREAM hybrid card Hirota is going to make waves at FW.

If Stan beats Silva, I might have to off myself.
I think Stan has a good chance, because Wanderlei is pretty old, in fighting years.

Really nice main card. Undercard is pretty terrible, though, in my opinion.
End of the line for Wanderlei here. Too much power for his deteriorating chin.

I don't think the undercard is terrible at all, but then again, I like seeing the Japanese and Koreans in favorable matches for once.
Really hope Fukuda turns it on tomorrow, he could easily be a fan favorite, but he hasn't exactly shown that yet like he did in DEEP and DREAM.
Glad Tokudome is getting a chance elsewhere, really consistent performances in Pancrase.
Lim has also got a huge amount a hype behind him, as well.

Honestly don't know anybody on the undercard besides the regulars.
Do you know anything about Cristiano Marcello's opponent? What are his skills like?

Tokudome's a pretty well-rounded fighter. He's not a particularly great striker or grappler, but he's definitely capable of holding is own at both.
He doesn't deal well with strong punchers and I don't know if he can consistently avoid being taken down to ground by Marcelo.
Close fight, Tokudome is worth a bet.

Interesting. I don't really rate Marcello at all and I'd favor anybody who can punch over him.

Yes, these are the fights I'm interested in seeing, with an eye on Fukuda-Tavares (good contest, that one).
Hirota-Yahya is going to be an interesting tilt. After seeing Hirota give Healy fits, I think he can win and become a solid FW, but how does he handle the weight cut? And Yahya has an underrated TD game for a BJJ guy.

What are everyone's picks?
Stann > Wanderlei
Struve > Hunt
Gomi > Diego
Okami > Lombard
Hirota > Yahya
Tavares > Fukuda
Kim > Siyar
Mizugaki > Caraway
Tokudome > Marcello
Cacares > Kang
Guimares > Lim
I'll admit the last 3 are really stabs in the dark.
Stann > Wanderlei

Looks pretty good, the matchups are hard to predict. Hunt/Struve could either be like Mccorkle vs Hunt or JDS vs Struve. Lombard takes Okami. If wanderlei avoids the standup and takes it to the ground he can win. Wanderlei should have better jitz than Stann. Siyar will tko Kim and Hirota wins easily.Sweet Pea Is My Mom wrote:What are everyone's picks?

loving this card simply because of 3 fighters, it's obvious who they are but for those who don't know (Hunt, Wanderlei & Gomi)
Also looking forward to seeing Siyar back in action, slowly becoming a fan of his.

Ideally I'd like for Wandy,Gomi,Hunt and Siyar to win their fights but it probably won't go that way.

I wish they use the Jungle Fight rules, if you misses weight you lose 1 point on the scorecards.
