Seiko Yamamoto, KID’s sister, wins Asian ADCC Trials
Wed Mar 27, 2013 3:05 am
The Yamamoto family is known for their stellar wrestling and Seiko Yamamoto is bearing the torch for the family these days.
Seiko Yamamoto won the under 60 KG division at the ADCC Asian Trials this past weekend. ADCC Asia Trial 2013 was held on Sunday at Komazawa Olympic Park Gymnasium.
Yamamoto defeated a former ADCC world champion Sayaka Shioda and Strikeforce veteran Takayo Hashi.
What is important to note here is that Yamamoto and her sister are very popular in Japan. They have both been in the media on countless occasions and drew quite the presence at her competition. While no announcement has even been hinted at, she has been training with KrazyBee, Norifumi’s gym, and it could be possible that she enter the sport.
As one of the most dynamic female wrestlers to ever come out of Japan, she is a multi-world champion and has solidified herself as one of the most decorated wrestlers in Japanese history.
