Come on. I gotta at least an additional l o l for the alah armbar line. I was tying to find a joke where I could use it. Maybe if I spelled it right it would have killed.KSW wrote:Dagwood wrote:I believe Dagwood is MMA's messiah sent to save the sport and defend it from the Zuffadels. Ala Armbar!KSW wrote:Seems like you and I like the same version of mma.backdoor to zuffa wrote:I thought Clementi unquestionably won but it was just a typical humpfest from what I recall. I definitely did not watch that crap twice. As for Gluhov/Garner, I think it could have gone either way. I remember liking Gluhov's work a little more, and so I scored it for him.
Also, I agree KSW. That garbage should not score big points unless the fighter actually does damage with GNP or advances into dominant positions. Too often, the guy on bottom is actually doing the work and doesn't get credit for it because he's not on top. Scoring needs to be retooled, but we all know it won't be.

Just watching this. He's a fun fighter to watch for sure. His strikes flow well, and he's aggressive, though his head seems to be too stationary at times. Also, I see he has several submission wins on his record. Would you say that it's mostly his defensive grappling that is lacking?KSW wrote:Slava is fighitng on the next M-1 card. Quick fluid world class stand up game. Ground and grappling is not on the same level.backdoor to zuffa wrote:Can anyone give me the rundown on Slava as far as his style is concerned? Strengths and weaknesses. I keep seeing his name mentioned. I'll have to check out some of his fight footage some time.

The unified rules are some of the worse set of rules I've seen in any sport.

The main (if it is a main) smells of a Joe Warren decision by wrestling.
Tiger should handle Davis for a 2nd-round TKO.
Brooks will decision Alessio.
Clementi will just squeak out a decision against Tirloni.
Awad should starch Stapleton in the first round.

I agree with MR.WILLIE and backdoor to zuffa and felt Clementi legitimately beat Tiger, under any rule set.

Keyword dominate. How can you dominate when your opponent does more damage?AudaxSmoke wrote:I agree with MR.WILLIE and backdoor to zuffa and felt Clementi legitimately beat Tiger, under any rule set.

Bellator has done a great job scouting talent. Always has, always will. I only wish they were around when SRC was doing it because that'd be a great partnership. Alas, we can only DREAM :'(
Good new is that Joe Warren dominated!
