what I meant by that is, he might have done better but with all his shit talking it seems to have bit him in the ass, he was never going to be champion.

How many times do I have to say it. Getting sparked out in 10 seconds means that you got caught. It can happen to anyone. You can't evaluate a fighter's performance on a fight like that.

May not have anything to do with your specific point but does relate to the topic you are responding to. A 10 second knock out isn't something to always focus on but who dished it out and who was on the receiving end should be looked at. But I brought him being dominated by Phil Davis up as an example of why Vinny isn't top shelf. Like others have said he does indeed have a weak chin and is not high level ANYWHERE but in BJJ.
