Questions for Bubba Jenkins

I've got an interview with Bubba Jenkins, 4-0 Bellator prospect, and I thought I'd ask you guys if there's anything specific and unique you want to know about him!

Who his inspirations in wrestling were

Not sure how to word this, but ask him something about his background in street fighting & his transition to MMA.

When and how he first got interested in starting an MMA career

What he thinks about Ben askren and his style also if he would want to train with him.

1. Ask him if he's gonna learn to submit or KO his opponents.
2. Ask him if he's ever fought a wrestling match where he wasn't 'continually' attempting to pin his opponent.
3. Ask whether in a wrestling match... he stayed on the back of his opponent for minutes at a time without advancing his position or attempt to pin and end the fight?
4. Ask why he never made made it to world-class international wrestling or the Olympics or world championships as a senior.

These are important things to understand about the mindset of a new prospect from American amateur wrestling and how to accurately gauge the level of their wrestling relative to the best in the world. NCAA Div 1 is high-level post-secondary school American wrestling. It is not world-class though some MMA broadcasters have given many uninformed MMA fans that idea.

How many fights he has on his bellator contract?

What's his favorite color

Who he thinks the GOAT is fedor or Silva

Ask him what it was like growing up in Germany.

He announced his intention to go into MMA at the post-event press conference after he one the NCAA national championship in 2011.

Ask him what fighters or athletes he is a fan of. Of course, what MMA fighters firstly. But, if he wants to also say what wrestlers, or boxers, or other athletes, or other figures period, he respects or admires.

You could ask, which MMA fighters.

And then as a follow up, which wrestlers, boxers, other athletes, etc.

How did he feel about his performance in his last fight in Bellator. What did he feel he did right in that fight and what would he have adjusted if he were to go through that same fight again.

2) Does he follow any sports besides MMA? Who are his favourite athletes outside of MMA?

Jenkins wrestled for Penn State and Arizona State. Askren wrestled for Missouri. Mo wrestled for Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
