Agreed. Bjorn made offers, but Askren wanted to fight big names, none of which are in Bellator. So they release Askren, which is the decent thing to do and what Askren and the fans of MMA want.
Dana turns this story around to say that Bjorn is scummy and sleazy for discrediting his fighter (didn't he do the same when Dan Henderson left the UFC). This is how Dana has bullied other businesses through publicly slandering, lies and manipulation of the media and fan opinion. Dana White plays dirty, and he is a force to be reckoned with. I guess that's what it takes to build an empire.

I have read many comments saying Dana doesn't have any problem signing a "WSOF Guy" but signing a "Bellator Guy" gives Bjorn/Viacom/Bellator "bragging rights" if the Guy does well in the UFC. I kinda agree with this reasoning.
