Satoru Kitaoka Vs Ramazan Esenbaev At Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye 2013

Satoru Kitaoka (32-12-9) has been a mainstay for MMA in Japan for years. Kitaoka, who is a close friend of Aoki, was last seen putting on a tremendous performance at Pancrase 252. Kitaoka managed to defeat Dom O’Grady in just over a minute of the first round. He is currently on a 2 fight win streak and will definitely be looking for a win at this year’s New Year’s Eve show.

Kitaoka has been unlucky in his past two NYE outings, getting defeated by both Shinya Aoki in 2011 and Will Brooks last year under the DREAM banner. This year Kitaoka will be facing Russian mixed martial artist Ramazan Esenbaev (5-1). Esenbaev is a Sambo specialist who has competed at M-1 Challenge.

Ramazan Esenbaev is a legit fighter from M-1. Russians vs Japanese fighters is always cool.

I'm really surprised DEEP's letting him have this fight. Its not like Kitaoka is the most consistent fight, so he could lose this fight quickly.

I'm glad IGF is putting on some cool bouts for NYE. Hopefully this means Aoki will get somebody with a name. Wouldn't be surprised to see Leonard Garcia.

Cool to see Inoki is bringing in Aoki and Kitaoka for NYE. Hope they at least have 6 MMA fights.

Kitaoka is going to body this dude. Former Sengoku Champion Satoru Kitaoka.

would rather see something like a Aoki rematch or something so Kitaoka can get some revenge but I'll still watch. Too bad Hellboy is a FW now, that'd be a sick fight too. Just happy to have some MMA on NYE.

Great to hear Fuji TV will be airing this.  Now they at least need a live Internet stream or AXS TV.  It's in a ring with PRIDE type rules as well so looking forward to it.

Considering the harsh penalties for stuff like that, its easier said than done.

If Keyhole TV is still around, that'll be your best bet.

My, my, how times have changed. I used to have to break my back to get a handle of that lol.
