UFC 173 ticket sales disaster

ufc 173 looks like shit on paper so this is no surprise... but to be fair this event is a bit ways away

This is vegas, tickets usually the cheap ones are bought up by now. This is going to be a huge gate disaster. This is vegas, not bumf-ck ohio or somewhere.

I expect more tickets will be sold when the zuffa hype train "comes to town"

maybe, i guess im off base. but according to sherdog the ufc puts about 60 percent of their marketing behind Rousey. She sold 340k ppv's. That tells me the zuffa hype train has derailed and caught on fire.

They deserve these shitty ticket sales because they are horrible at product management and marketing. They are finally starting to collapse in on themselves, getting what they fucking deserve for raping the soul and spirit of MMA.

UFC is going to end up as some shitty clothing and lifestyle brand ala Tapout in the end. They'll never go away completely but they won't keep standing as a MMA promotion for long since they keep unloading so many bullets into their own feet.

don't get me wrong I totally agree but some how Zuffa always most of the time "squeezes by"

I like this prediction. There will be classy MMA and trashy UFC.
