^Yeah, good point. I'd say you are right. I wouldn't even mind if both of them are in it, if it's a good close fight. But I hope Bellator sends a representative again, either a LHW or HW or both.

Ring: They should have some nets on the bottom of the ring like other promotions.
Kron v Tokoro: Too big a jump for Kron. Someone like Yuki takano from DEEP would be a more manageable step up. Tokoro should fight Gabrielle Carrasco from Bellator.
I think everything is good with Baruto as far as I know. I hope to see him in the GP.
I like the ring the way it is, like the PRIDE ring. Just my personal preference.
Tokoro is a big step up, I agree, but if he pulls it off, would be a big win for him and move him up quickly on to even bigger fights.

I'm really looking forward to this one as well. I haven't seen and OW GP in Japan in over 10 years I think.

Rampage and Ishii were pretty even in their fight (I thought Ishii probably should have won under the rule set). I think Ishii or Rampage (or both) deserve a spot in the GP.
I'm thinking some good & realistic matches would be:
Fedor vs Baruto
Wanderlei Silva vs Maldonado
King Mo vs Ishii
Jiri Prochazka vs Jaideep

Baruto would be good because he's huge but inexperienced so it kind of levels things

Yeah, that was a close fight. That would be a great GP.

Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett (29-30-2) signs with RIZIN , will fight 19-year-old prospect Arsen Yamamoto (0-1) on 9/24.
As he likes to go by now, "Felony" Charles Bennett's RIZIN deal is 2-fights.

Dang, Arsen Yamamoto doesn't get any favors. First Kron (who at least was barely more experienced in MMA than him) and now a vet of the sport.

^I really hope they can get Page in this GP. Would be a real nice addition. Maldonado too would be real good. Wand is already in.
Baruto would fit nice in here as well. Plus, King Mo. Then they should get a really solid champion prospect from one their partner orgs like Jungle Fight, DEEP,... He can be anywhere from 185 - 265 but should be a real solid fighter for this GP.
Two more spots after that can go to Kiril and maybe KSW top fighter or champ at 205 - 265.

^Yeah, getting some champs from other orgs would be good. Or at least top contenders.

Could be Wand vs. Baruto in first round of OW GP. Would be a big weight difference and Wand has been out a while so not sure they will make this fight out of the gate but it's possible in this type of tournament.

Since both of them are popular in Japan they should probably give each of them a winnable fight. Of course, if one beats the other, I suppose it will just increase their star power.

You're right, that may be more likely than having them against each other in the first round.
