No, that would be Brock Lesnar who got a UFC title shot by losing to Mir and beating an aging Heath Herring.

Looking forward to these fights tonight. I'd like to see Johnson get the win here and then fight Lashley next for the vacant HW belt.

Agreed, it was pretty slow and boring for the most part.

Yankova got beat up by a can. Coker is wasting all this money and promotion on her.

RIZIN's female divisions are so much better. Kanako Murata would smash Yankova.

Feel bad for johnson his mind was not in this fight and his body showed he hadn't been training well either.

Lackluster fight but it had its moments for each guy.....boy kongo is physically strong.

Yankova couldnt make 125 fight ended up near 135 lol she looked huge.She has alot of potential and has the beauty to market as well but she needs discipline to make weight or she wont get by on half assed performances....that being said i enjoyed the fight.

Rizin definitely has some high level low weight females but the gabi garcia division is an utter waste of time and hard to watch for the most part.

Im not a huge wmma fan but i enjoy some females as they can produce good fights.But Bellator has had issues with nearly every female theyve attempted to push.From marloes to all the uber hot girls with limited experience.

But im not mad at watching models fight.....

Bellator definitely needs some fresh faces in hw to add depth they just signe Shanrock FC hw champ bobby brents he won the contract by defending his belt.

Imho bellator needs to expand its roster but it needs to do so at a slow pace to not over extend.Bellator may have had a record year and is expanding to new international venues but ot needs more proof of sustained growth.They Dont want to get in debt by going crazy......if they do more shows they could house more fighters.

Good breakdown.  Kongo has that size and strength.  

I agree on WMMA and also I think Bellator maybe should just focus more on the men's divisions.

Djamil chan is a great kickboxer he put on a good fight but campos is just tough and more rounded....great fight.

Yankova isn't a finished product she onky has 4 pro fights and it showed this fight when her hameplan didn't work she couldn't adjust,something she will work on im sure as well as making weight.It was her first fight in America so possibly wasn't used to the travel but she won and was realistic asking for a rematch very big of her.

Joe warren was hungry and fought a great fight breaking kakais nose and just out classing him.Joe is not a guy who shows up every fight hopefully he stays consistent and gets back in title contention.

Johnson vs kongo was a dirty clinch and grappling battle.....johnson came in heavier then usual and it hurt him in round 3.Props for not canceling the fight but it might have been better fir him if he did.Tony had no gas after round 1 it was sad cuz thats not the level he fights at he has great technique and skill none of which was on display.Kongo in his later part of his career is a smart fighter just wish he'd use his kickboxing more......and imagine if in the ufc he used his wrestling more instead of just standup.....kongo is a solid hw fir sure....slow grueling fight but it was ok.


Bellator puts on fun shows i look forward too this one definitely had some great moments and the main was lackluster but still had meaning and decent action not bad for a small show.

Event overall was solid, you're right. I liked that Warren finish. Mainly it was just the main event that kind of sucked.
