Pls don't ban people just because they disagreed with you. Brock Rogers was not trolling just arguing about the fight. Banning should be last resort.

I felt he was trolling. He wasn't arguing any points or giving any reasons, just running his mouth to be annoying. But like I said, unban him if you wish.

Stuff like this is an issue for me. He wasn't giving any points, he didn't even respond to what we actually said. He is just creating strawman arguments and knocking them down. If he had responded with some real analysis I don't think either of us would have had a problem with it.

Yeah we want to be careful to not have any appearance of that here. Not saying that this is the case here, but disagreement is not grounds for a ban. We want open discourse here. Longer-term souring of the worldwide MMA socio-political viewpoint of the founding fathers of the site still needs protecting though.

If someone is pro-Zuffa, it's fighters and it's management 'only' and everything else is crap, then why would they want to be here. There are a million other places that they can go to and gather with like-minded UFC fans. All of us found this site have grown weary of that on every western English speaking MMA forum. As the mantra I keep repeating here goes... we want to create a place that is a safe-haven from that here.

I'm hoping that before any bans are handed out we can get mods to submit ban-candidates to us 3 admins and then by committee we can approve a ban or not. That would be the most fair way to do things IMO. We don't want to have any chance over the long-run of turning into Sherdog with no checks and balances for ban control. Nor should we allow for the ability of anyone to arbitrarily through out the ban hammer without consultation between mods & admins, or admins & admins.

Works for me as well. Monaro and I agreed on this short term ban, I thought that would be enough, but this sounds fine by me.
