No one is talking about Mak Hunto's return to Japan

Mark Hunt is also a big star in Japan yet he's getting no press for his return to the land of the rising sun. wtf? You'd think Zuffa would be smart enough to use him to promote this event in Japan.

If Hunto can keep way from his cage-smothering game, it will be a short night for Kongo. One good shot to that pointy chin, or an atomic butt drop and Kongo is finished. I'd like to watch these guys kick box for a while but something tells me if that does happen... it won't be for long.

Hunt is my favourite fighter on this card. UFC didn´t want him to begin with but they had to honour his old PRIDE contract, right? Hunt stands up for himself and that´s not something Zuffa want to deal with.

I've been extremely pissed off at the low coverage of this fight. Kenny Florian gave it some props on UFC Tonight. They weren't at the pre-fight press conference, they aren't on the ufc countdown show, their names aren't on the posters or billboards, there are 2 interviews of Kongo (videos) and theres one interview of Mark Hunt HERE.

Then i see all of these prediction videos and these people in threads around other shitty forums because i want to know what people think of the fight and i'm appalled. The majority of these zombies are comparing their stand up like it's on the same level, and a lot of people think Kongo's stand up is better. People are calling Kongo a "kickboxing champion". FUCK THAT HE HASN'T BEATEN ANYONE. The top guy he ever faced in kickboxing was Glaube Feitosa, who beat Kongo. What accolades are these people talking about? Well nobody ever points out what Kongo has actually won, in actuality the championships are nothing that mean anything in the kickboxing world. Only the few point out Hunt's K-1 WGP win, and still dare to compare their standup.

Kongo got beat in the stand up by Matt Mitrione and Pat Barry (did win but i'm sorry it was a fluke), i'm sorry for getting a bit off-topic but I have to do it because i'm disgusted by the lack of knowledge some people show. It's definitely not pointed at you guys!!

Hunt by ko, if kongo has any balls he will stand with Hunt.

Yeah, it is strange they are not covering this fight. I was suprised to see so many fights on the card on the Countdown show and the fight I want to see most was not even mentioned.

Mark Hunt is one of my favorite HW's period. I'm always excited to see him fight. Atomic butt drop forever.

Yeah he's definitely a regular dude but i love his attitude. Kongo got offended that Mark took the fight because they were training partners last year for a couple of months. Mark Hunt said it's just business, and he said he's still fighting cause he believes he's the best.

Anyway, i don't dislike Kongo, but i'm Mark Hunt all day.

If pat barry can floor kongo, Hunt will knock his head back to france. I am also worried kongo will wrassle him. This could easily be one of the most exciting fights of the night if kongo isnt a vag.

I'm pumped. I've got a 50 dollar bet going. Simple FTW.

I wouldn´t be surprised if Kongo closes the distance and puts Hunt against the cage and then goes for a takedown. In an ideal world Hunt and Kongo stand and trade.
