DEEP announced three title fights for the upcoming CAGE IMPACT show at Koreuhen Hall on July 15th.

The final of DEEP welterweight GP, between Ken Hasegawa and Ryuichirou Sumimura will take place in this event, and this means the GP final is going to be held in the cage.

Hasegawa is a 30-year old veteran with pro MMA record of 15-1-1.

The only loss was against Brennan Ward in RIZIN which was at 185 lbs & under so he is undefeated at this weight class. Hasegawa is currently on a three-fight win streak.

Sumimura is also on a three-fight win streak with pro MMA record of 11-5.

The other fight announced is a Megtaon-weight (above 100 kg) between the champion Jaideep “Heart” Singh and the challenger Rogue Martinez from team Spike 22 in Guam. Rogue, who is the former PXC heavyweight champion, fought for DEEP seven years ago. Martinez is four wins and one draw in 2015 and 2016 with 16 pro MMA fights under his belt which is way more than Singh who has fought only four pro MMA fights.

Even with heavy experience in K-1, the Indian may be in for a very tough fight.

Masakazu Imanari doesn’t look like he can defend DEEP featherweight title anytime soon because of the injury.

According to DEEP this was the reason for Imanari to relinquish the belt, and now, 16-year old Japanese MMA promotion announced that Hiroto Uesako and Koichi Ishizuka will be fighting for a vacant 145 lbs & under title.
