I don't know why AXS TV doesn't pick up DEEP. Some good cards hear would be cool to see live.

I've been wondering the same thing for years.
They had some DREAM and SRC but since have really been sleeping on some JMMA

They're just using the lame excuse.of how they can't broadcast it since there isn't an HD feed available.

Yeah they have. Wish they would step things back up.

Yeah but that's BS. They could broadcast DEEP, Pancrase, ONE FC, Shooto. Would be unreal if they could pick up two or more of these orgs.

HDNet was supposed to be all HD 1080p Programming. That was their standard. Unfortunately they wanted to only do things in HD. I don't know the standards anymore but it would cost a lot for the grassroots MMA promotions to do 4K content now since 1080p is going away. It costs a boatload of money.

Yeah, they've been saying that one forever.
Seemed more plausible maybe several years ago but I'm having a hard time buying that they can't get an HD feed in 2014, especially in Japan.

DEEP 65 IMPACT: MW Champ King Kaz challenges Megaton King Hasegawa, Imanari vs Motoya
Surprise upon surprise on the eve of Lunar Lew Year of the Horse, as King Kaz’ next title fight will not be against King Of Pancrase Ryo Kawamura – whom he called out at DEEP Cage Impact – and it won’t even be in his middleweight division. Nakamura, on a 4-0 streak through 2013, has set his goals even higher and heavier as plans to challenge Megaton Champion Ken Hasegawa.
Three years in DEEP got the 26-year old 220-pound prodigy a shot at the vacant title against Seigo Mizuguchi. Hasegawa remained undefeated while claiming the belt and this fight with Nakamura will be his first defense.
Next on the announcements platter comes Imanari’s next foe, and it will be none other than Yuki Motoya, DEEP’s first Flyweight Champ who lost his belt to Tatsumitsu Wada, then surged back to hand King of Pancrase Kiyotaka Shimizu a surprise upset.
The 24-year old Motoya is jumping up a weight class and a level of grappling danger when he faces the Leg Lock Master who is on his own 2-fight win streak.
Shigetoshi Iwase will be the next opponent thrown at Cage Force Welterweight Champ Yoshiyuki Yoshida, who only just returned home to Japan last year, where he almost twisted the head off Parky in a career-ending fight. Yuki Okano will welcome Pancrase warhorse Kei Yamamaiya to DEEP. Taishow returns against Iron. Tomomi Iwama has put in sporadic appearances over the last few years. Since Hiroshi Nakamura was KOed in his return to Japan MMA after Bellator, DEEP apparently thinks he needs a softer touch.

I honestly think it should be enough to put him right into contention for a top 15 spot.
