Yeah well what do they expect coker to say? "My guys are good but they'd get smashed by the guys in the ufc " yeah that would show real confidence in his guys if he said that. At the end of the day the ufc might be the biggest/most known but it doesn't have all the best fighters at the end of the day there are no " best fighters " everyone losses there is always someone who will be your kryptonite

It's hilarious how zombies and even some media hadn't learned their lesson. How many scoffed at him saying SF could compete with UFC's best only for many SF fights to come in and enjoy great success?

I'd say five reasons
1 they have extremely short term memories
2 they work for the ufc .
3 they like to be told what to think
4 they think ufc fighters have super powers.
5 all the above.

Well UFC has non-competition against other MMA fighters outside the UFC. They know it's a gamble and took a decade to clear the history or forget about the history. Randy loosing bustamante loosing to rampage. Quinton very important fighter in the UFC vs pride war and all of MMA lore and evolution. Beat chuck twice in pride fc and a contender fighter in pride but not champion. Beat chuck in UFC backyard and beating Dan Henderson to become the only undisputed champion in MMA history. Rampage and greatly underappreciated because of today's attitude and not taking the combat sport seriously no more.
We need more cross over matches In MMA.
This happens in boxing way more often than MMA. Exception bellator and rizin partnership.
UFC good in marketing fake hype and exposing the brand more important than the fighter.

No doubt. Nemkov is a great champion. Anderson always had potential. Guys like Johnson and Romero add good depth and vets to the division. Albrektsson is someone to look out for. Arunas, Neal, Edwards, Polizzi, Anglickas, and Trainer have good to great potential. Viktor Nemkov began his Bellator career with a loss but he's had success and don't sleep on him.

Meanwhile, who does UFC have? A 42 year old Glover Texieria as champion. Nothing against Glover but him winning at this point in his career probably says more about the state of the division than his current skills. Meanwhile, look at the wikipedia list and I'm not sure who stands out in UFC's roster besides Blachowicz, Rakic, and Prochazka. Even former title contenders like Anthony Smith, Dominick Reyes, and Thiago Santos have hit hard times or haven't beat many great contenders lately.
