EPIC card. I read that tinobar thinks this is going to be on DVD and I have to be inclined to agree. I thought including the Outsider on such a monumental card was genius. Another reason why Maeda is best. Can't wait to see this main event, work or not, can't ask for a better combo. Like Uno in Shooto, Volk was pure magic in RINGS.

Also glad to see Vitali Krat, who will without a doubt be the star of the new RINGS. They need to call up Yoshinaga and match these two together for the first main event of next RINGS event.

Happy to know Watanabe kept up the winning streak too. Maybe rematches with Yajima and Tanuma are in the near future. The RINGS flyweight division needs to be sorted. It'd be nice to get a guy like Eizumi in there too since he fits the new RINGS mold perfectly.

Lastly, surprised to see Sano taken out so quickly. I suppose it's nice to see a new challenger for Yoshinaga though.

Sounded like Fujino put up a hell of a fight. Now i'm looking forward to seeing Hamasaki in Invicta.

Glad Hagano went out with a win, then again it sucks Tomita had to go out with a loss. Unfortunate that such JEWELS mainstays won't be returning again Sad

I'm really liking Inoue. It was a shame they had to throw her to Hamasaki so early in her career but it looks like it just made her even better. I expect big things from her in the years to come.

Anderson is for real it looks, although Yabushita isn't nearly the threat she once was. Hope to see more of Anderson in Jewels before Invicta gets a hand on her. As for Yabushita, it's unfortunately about time for her to call it a day.

Glad Ishikawa got another win and it's always nice to see Haga pick up a rare win.

TONS of good fights coming up in the next few months for Shooto, Pancrase, and DEEP.

As always, I will give an in-depth rundown on all three soon.

Off the top of my head:

Pancrase: Shimizu x Kitahara for the Super Flyweight title, Suzuki x Orui for number one contendership in the welterweight division

DEEP: Yokota x SHOJI for the FW title, Nakamura x Choi for the MW title, Hasegawa x Fujinuma for the Megaton title

Shooto: Hadairo x Sasaki for number one contendership for the BW title, only if Horiguchi isn't available.

DEEP 61st coming up real soon and if you know me, i'll be really excited for this one.

THREE TITLE BOUTS and a handful of other solid bouts.

*Main event looks to be Yokota putting on his featherweight title on the line against one of the most exciting fighters in JMMA today, SHOJI. I think it would do wonders for DEEP if SHOJI were to win the title, as he's a very fun fighter but whether he can sell tickets remains unseen. The smart pick would be to go with Yokota to retain, as he really only outright struggles with strong grapplers and while inconsistent, when he's on the top of his game, he's a very tough fighter to beat.

That being said, i'll be going with the upset pick with SHOJI picking up the victory. He's got great power for a featherweight and Yokota has yet to face someone with such blistering fists at featherweight. Could honestly go either way.

*The second title bout sees the middleweight championship find a new owner, as the vacant title will be up for grabs with a match between Kazuhiro Nakamura and Young Choi.

A huge opportunity for the DEEP stalwart Choi as he has his first real chance at tasting championship glory, but it'll be a very tough task ahead as Nakamura will be the one trying to prevent him from achieving that, as this also marks the biggest opportunity for him since he was a part of the Sengoku MWGP.

I just honestly can't see Choi winning this fight in any way. Nakamura is a very tough customer, has fought AND beaten superior opposition. Nakamura does have a penchance of getting into unnecessary brawls but I think he'll fight relatively safe and work his way to a unanimous decision and claim the vacant championship.

*The final championship match on tap is for the also vacant Megaton championship as young gun Ken Hasegawa fights Hirohide Fujinuma.
Unfortunately, Levan Razmadze vacated the title to seek opportunities elsewhere as he absolutely demolished the division. DEEP held a mini GP to determine the challengers for the vacant belt this past winter, which is why Hasegawa and Fujinuma are both here.

Both guys are fairly small for the division, Hasegawa weighing in at 220 and Fujinuma being a fighter that's better suited for being a middleweight. Both also have their strong suits, Hasegawa being a well-rounded fighter and Fujinuma having knockout power. This might be the closest fight of the night as no one really has a distinct advantage over one another. Fujinuma has more experience and has been on a great run as of late but is susceptible to grapplers. Whether Hasegawa can implement that kind of gameplan is unknown to me but i'll side with him by way of submission to become the new Megaton champion.

*Also on the card is the most hyped Featherweight in the world, Doo Ho Choi as he fights against Tatsunao Nagakura. Choi has looked absolutely unbeatable and hasn't really shown many weaknesses since his days in Sengoku. Nagakura was the 2008 DEEP Future King and had his share of hype as well as possibly the fighter with most potential coming out of Yoshida Dojo, before he was knocked out by Akihiko Mori at ASTRA in 2010. That fight really brought out a disadvantage as he doesn't bode very well against strong punchers, being stopped by Koichiro Matsumoto but he did survive against SHOJI in his next bout.

Though Nagakura bounced back strong against Kadowaki, he honestly didn't stand too much of a chance in the first place, he falls right into the game of Choi, who I believe will finish him early in the fight.

*Imanari also returns to the DEEP ring against ZST veteran, Kenichi Ito, in what has potential to be a very fun fight. Ito could very well pull of an upset against Imanari as he actually has an understanding of the striking game but on paper, Imanari looks to be too much and will either win by submission or a clear-cut decision.

*DEEP welterweight kingpin Yuya Shirai will also fight against Yuki Okano, in a bout that serves as a bounce back for Shirai as he has lost his last two bouts. He should be on course for a title match against the winner of the next bout.

*Yuta Watanabe will fight the scrappy Naoki Samukawa in a bout that will surely serve at determining the next challenger for the DEEP welterweight belt. Watanabe has quietly compiled an impressive record and has shown an ability to finish fights with both his fists and grappling. Samukawa doesn't have all too much experience but has hung tough with such fighters as Ryo Chonan and Yoshitomo Watanabe in his first three fights.

Watanabe looks to be on another level as of late and will decisively win over Samukawa, whether he finishes him is unseen as it's been a tough task to finish him. If my prediction pans out, we'll see an incredible fight between Watanabe and Shirai by the middle of the year.

*Also appearing are HIDETORA, Daisuke Endo, and Naohiro Mizuno.

Forgot to add the rematch between DJ.taiki and Toshiaki Kitada. Winner gets a shot at Maeda's bantamweight title.

Refuse to go any further in detail with a Daiki Hata fight as he's so unpredictable lol.

Damn, they have stacked this card up. 3 title fights. Best card since DEEP 57. They got to make this available to see some how. Thanks for the great breakdown.

No problem, probably will do another one soon for Pancrase.

This further proves that DEEP is the penultimate JMMA promotion as of now.
