What's he supposed to do? If you're on the ground after getting rocked that's pretty much the only viable option.

I'd rather see GSP fight Silva than defend his belt against Hendricks. That said, Silva would destroy GSP.

don't get me wrong, GSP is remarkably good AT WRESTLING and setting up those takedowns

the fight wasn't bad at all.

Makes me sick to my stomach when guys throw elbows to do superficial damage. Elbows are cheap anyways. Very few guys can KO anyone with them. Pride had it right by banning them.


GSP threw maybe 5 power shots all night. And try to mount even less. Not one submission attempt. Not a great fight at all for a champion.
