My question to you is have you ever full contact sparred?

The difference between thus and a fight aren't much.as I stated before I have been training partners for pros so I have been hit by a pro punch in boxing gloves as well as mma gloves and bare fists and the comparison is mma gloves hit much harder hands down.

I don't know your combat experience but if u have done more then boxing you would know what I'm talking about.

Usually I don't respond to people who resort to calling someone dumb or stupid for an idea but I decided to make an exception for you.

For the last time (I fear this is going in circles) boxing gloves while great don't impact as hard as a bare fist or mma glove does period, I've given and received in all cases and firmly believe this to be the truth.

Sparring gloves are 16 ounces generally, sooooo.....

And in sparring the object isn't generally to knock your opponent out.

Go get some pro boxing bouts under your belt and then come back and talk.

Hell, go get some amateur bouts with 12 ounce gloves.

And MM gloves are what, 4 ounces? Of course that means less padding. 8-10 ounce boxing gloves still hit hard.

Thats brutal, I will say this as someone who has done both sports and trained with K-1 guys back in the early 2000's. Getting hit in the head sucks with or with out the boxing gloves. Also for me it seemed to effect me more to get hit with the boxing glove then the mma glove. Prob due to the fact its larger sized made more contact. 2 cents.

That wasn't from the fight. Lebedev was sparring with Fedor again. Good thing he was wearing head gear & Fedor was using only 16 oz gloves.

Solves everything is implementing there is a problem , so excuse me for misunderstanding. On the other hand wouldnt like to see it because if you have knockout power mma gloves or k-1/boxing gloves you can still knock someone the fuck out.. why would you want to trade slightly more powerful punches which wouldnt really make a difference most of the time for eye pokes. Eyepokes happen in mma all the time in stand up forms of fighting would be even more frequent especially by out fighters.

in the beginning of this somwhere im pretty sure i said it would be an mma inspired glove a little tweak to have finger coverings so pokes if occured wouldnt be anything bad.Anyway i just wanted to see what people thought more of a segway into my Strikers fighting league in which i created an mma styled fighting event bringing together the worlds best strikers to see what styles are dominant woul dlove more input on that but yeah thanks all for your thoughts.
