World Series of Fighting has a next opponent in mind for arguably it's biggest-name fighter, Jon Fitch.

Matchmaker Ail Abdel-Aziz revealed at a media lunch Tuesday that Fitch is likely to meet the winner of Saturday's WSOF 4 bout between welterweights Jorge Santiago and Gerald Harris in Ontario, Calif.

If all goes according to plan, the bout would be targeted for October. Although a date and venue have yet to be finalized, the card is expected to be held in South Florida.

Fitch (24-6-1, 1 no-contest) entered WSOF amid considerable fanfare after his surprise cut from the UFC earlier this year. Just as surprising was the result of his first fight, as he was submitted in 41 seconds by veteran Josh Burkman in Las Vegas on June 14.

As for his potential opponents, Santiago (25-11) is a Blackzilians fighter who has appeared everywhere from the UFC to Strikeforce to World Victory Road to BoDog. His last bout was a UFC loss to Gunnar Nelson on Feb. 16 in London.

Santiago makes his WSOF debut against Harris, a 33-year-old Tulsa native. The fighter known as "Hurricane" is 21-5 and will be fighting for the first times since losing to Burkman at WSOF 1 in November, which snapped a four-fight win streak.

Carson Beebe tells Chicago’s MMA that he has agreed to fight Marlon Moraes at WSOF 6 on October 26 in Miami.

“This is the biggest fight of my career. It’s a huge honor to fight for such an amazing organization like WSOF, and to be co-main event…what a blessing,” Beebe said. “I’m coming in as the underdog and fighting this guy on his home turf. I am preparing to shock the world!”

Beebe currently ranks as the #2 bantamweight in the WSOF, right behind the top-ranked Moraes. “I know a win here would put me on top and in prime position for a belt,” Beebe said.

The WSOF released pictures of their championship belts, but have yet to announce plans for any title fights.

They are getting closer to doing that, lining up tournaments for different divisions. Either way, a win over Moraes would indeed put Beebe as first in line for a shot at the WSOF bantamweight title.
Beebe scored a unanimous decision victory over Joe Murphy at WSOF 3, his first fight for the promotion.

It was his eighth consecutive win and he holds a professional record of 14-1. The fight against Moraes will be the second of a four-fight contract that he signed with WSOF. Beebe has made it abundantly clear how happy he is to be fighting for them.

“They are one of the biggest organizations in the world and are well-known for how well they treat their fighters,” Beebe told us before his fight with Murphy.
Beebe knows that it’s not only the biggest fight of his career, but it’s also his toughest.

Moraes has won all three of his WSOF fights, dispatching Miguel Torres, knocking out Tyson Nam and winning via unanimous decision over Brandon Hempleman.

Since the fight will be the co-main event, it will be nationally televised on the NBC Sports Network.

Meh, Beebe isn't the best opponent. Everyone seems to be booked up at 135.

i know but beebe is the best wrestler moraes has faced!!! and it will be a good test i think, plus he is 14-2

Nick LoBosco (6-0) is riding quite a streak in his mixed martial arts career. He has jumped out to 10 straight wins with six of those coming in the professional ranks. In his last outing he dispatched his opponent in only 39 seconds, winning with a rear naked choke. He will now take his act to the World Series of Fighting and debut at WSOF 6 in Miami.
Sources close to the event have told ProMMAnow that LoBosco will meet Fabio Mello (11-6) on October 26th a the Bank United Center in Coral Gables, Florida. Mello is a veteran of Bellator and Titan FC and has put together a seven fight winning streak. Mello is listed as an instructor in the Blackzilians camp at Imperial Athletics.
WSOF 6 will be headlined by the inaugural welterweight championship fight between Steve Carl and Josh Burkman. Also targeted for this event will be bantamweight star Marlon Moraes in a battle against Carson Beebe and a lightweight match up between Dan Lauzon and Justin Gaethje.
