We put the Global-MMA.com site and forum together for fans of MMA 'everywhere'. NOT just the UFC. We follow fighters from all over the world, all organizations, rings, cages, unified & non-unified rules or whatever.

We have some of the best JMMA, Asian, Euro-MMA, eastern-European/Russian MMA, Brazilian & more MMA posters on the net. Oh yeah, and the UFC, Bellator, SF and all other North American MMA orgs too. The site has been founded by a number of long-time senior posters from major MMA forums. Our core group are long-time serious hardcore MMA fans.

We are not trying to make Global-MMA.com a huge site with a bazillion members. That's the opposite of what a we are doing.

We put Global-MMA.com together as a safe haven for intelligent, very knowledgeable good quality posters who would like to share their commentary and opinions without being attacked by immature UFC-only fans, Zuffa Zombies, or trolls. We are looking to recruit new members who like fighters 'regardless' of where they are form or what organization they're from all around the world.

Our members are for the most part not politically or philosophically aligned with Zuffa and it's management. Namely Dana White, who most of us aren't too big fans of. We do however luv UFC fighters and it's fights.

Most of us have faced flack on the big forums for being critical of the Zuffa brain-trust for things we feel may not be good for the sports future worldwide. We hope for MMA to be a worldwide competitive SPORT not an international corporate brand of sports entertainment. We also would hope to see some sort of international independent governing body with independent/non-Zuffa-reliant-to-survive rankings.
