Bellator 172: Fedor vs Mitrione - February 18 (OFFICIAL DISCUSSION)

^Yeah, Fedor doesn't like to start combos off with a jab because it's what everyone does so everyone looks for it and is used to defending against it. He prefers to start with a cross a lot of times. He did throw a Jab/Lead Hook combo on Rizzo when they fought.

Fedor does have unorthodox striking but man it is effective and also add the fact he is very well rounded .I say he is the most well rounded heavyweight ever most heavyweight even today primarily fight with 2styles or just one .

^Nice video. It did get me pumped. I'd like to see the Fedor/Mitrione winner fight the Kongo/Thompson winner for the title (I wish Thompson was out of this and Lashley was in his place). That would be a good 4 man tournament.

Cool seeing two of MMAs GOATs together in that video. Video is really cool with the Fedor signing and intro into Bellator. I'm looking forward to this fight coming up. Always get a bit nervous before a Fedor fight. Hope he scores the KO.

Just a reminder to everybody: Fedor is fighting in Bellator, not the UFC!!!!  UFC will never get Fedor!

Fedor looks to be in good shape this time, from what I can tell. He looks to have some muscle on him.

Sure hope so.  He trained seriously for Jaideep and fought smart but for Maldonado he put on the worst performance of his career.  I'm hoping he just underestimated him and didn't prepare as well as he should have and now he is back to training more seriously.  He looked great in his last 3 fights before he retired but that has been almost 5 years ago now, so we will see what he has left.  Personally, I am hoping he destroys Mitrione, wins the title after that, defends it once or so and rides off into the sunset.

Also have to include the fake arse fans they attract too and they are fake case in point if Fedor went to the ufc and won the ufc belt the same ones calling him a "can crusher' will be the same ones who all of a sudden I'm a huge Fedor " fan" .

That would be an awesome ending to his career to come back and win a heavyweight championship
