I wish Fedor would have fought Tito. I would have been more interested in that fight anyway. Mitrione doesn't have that "it" factor to me. It should have been Fedor vs Kongo for the title tonight anyway. Bellator needs to stop screwing around and get big fights done.

Also, please do not rebook Fedor vs Mitrione. Mitrione had his chance and blew it tonight.

Fedor was offered 3 fights last minute but he WANTS to fight mitrione.(they daid this during the show.And in his intervew after tokov fight he mentioned he and matt will fight.

I hope this fight happens.

Can he not understand that his FANS were waiting to see HIM fight....does it fucking matter who it is? like seriously.

He let down a lot of people and honestly I would have asked for a refund if I bought a ticket

Id rather see him fight someone that matters....tito is a lhw,chael is a fucking mw.....

Fedor already fought whoever they could scrape together in rizin and fight nights.

Mitrione is the best hw hes fought in years was ranked in ufc before departure and undefeated in Bellator.Fedor is a legend he doesn't have to fight anyone on short notice.

Im looking forward to this fight happening whenever it happens

Coker said at the post fight press conference that Fedor was never offered anyone else. Fedor didn't even know there were other options. People did volunteer but there wasn't time to work any of that out, Chael wasn't possible because they have other plans for him alread and Tito was retired.

I think that is true because I sent Peter Teijsse a text maybe 45 minutes before Tokov fought and he said there was no chance for another opponent and basically it sucks but that's life.

I'm still hoping for Fedor vs Kongo for the HW title in May since their original plan was to have the title be fought for this summer. Mitirone can always be the first defense for Fedor or Kongo.

Fedor is a brand like no other.
There is literally not one other martial artist on earth that has the power he does outside the UFC.
Fedor and his management did the right thing.
Can you imagine what this would've looked like had Kongo or Thompson took a fight on hours notice and beat Fedor?
You're talking done deal, even at 100-1 odds.

Believe me, it sucked. I drove 32 hours round trip through shitty weather to see his return.
It's simply the perfect scenario for the phrase "shit happens".

^I like that idea. Actually Fedor vs Bigfoot would be a great next fight for Fedor. After Maldonado he needs a dominant win and it gives him a chance to avenge a loss (the only one he can avenge since Hendo retired and Werdum is in the ufc).
