This is pretty dumb imo jeez really couldn't get another lady even remotely close to her size?

So I'm assuming that there will not be any further announcements for more fights to be added to this card considering the event is less than a week away.

You'd think they would have at least added one more exciting fight like maybe Baruto v.s someone I mean its not like they should saving him for a huge event since he's only had one fight it's not like he's a star yet they should be trying to get him another fight immediately to build him up and give him experience,I guess its not that big of a deal because there are still some good fights on this card and hopefully the next card is stacked and we get to see Fedor fight.

^Yeah, not sure why Baruto, Kron Gracie and the like aren't on this card. They need to be building these guys to make new stars and they need experience. Honestly I'm not excited for this card at all.

Should be fun but they need to step the game up..

The rules for the April 17th RIZIN.1 tag team grappling match between Kazushi Sakuraba/Hideo Tokoro and Wanderlei Silva/Kiyoshi Tamura have been announced:

• The match will be a 15-minute best out of 3 submissions tag team grappling match with no strikes allowed.
  
• The teams are allowed to tag a maximum of 5 times each during the match.
  
• The person making the tag has to use the palm of his hand (over the top rope). He can make the tag anywhere on his tag team partners body.
  
• If neither team scores two submissions before the 15 minutes are up, the match will end in an automatic draw.
  

This still makes me giggle lol should be if nothing else...,interesting.

This show doesn't look bad. The tag with Sakuraba/Wanderlei/Tokoro/Tamura is a good way to get them on the show without actually fighting. Nemkov, Jiri, Jaideep, and Teodoras all have potential. Also, great to see Kato but it appears he's got a challenge. I'm not looking forward to Fujita fighting. I hate he's on this losing streak but he shouldn't be fighting anymore. I just hope he doesn't get hurt too bad.

I hope there is a good stream for this. Not looking too good. If not, hope the videos show up tomorrow.

Yeah. If they had Fedor vs anyone it would have made the card much better. I would also have preferred Wanderlei Silva having an MMA match instead of the tag team grappling match. He could have fought anyone as a warm up fight. Those two additions alone would have taken this card to much higher levels.

This event though was a pain in the ass to watch. There wasn't even a good illegal stream and it took a damn VPN to even see. Gary Millen really is showing how worthless he is. They haven't monetized the market outside of Japan and China with their broadcast deal. A lot of people would have paid for this. Tape delay is dead in 2016 and it's hard to respect a "businessman" who predicates his model of revenue on tape delay and VHS tape sales

I'm glad to see Sakuraba doing grappling only. I didn't like the tag team idea when I heard about it but it was actually kind of cool. I hope Sakuraba continues to get work in Rizin, but only doing grappling matches. He doesn't need to take anymore damage.

"Big ring" was stupid idea and this event showed that.

Hope they will change that or fighters will keep falling out.

The ring and the rules with the soccer kicks, knees,..., is a good fit for Cruickshank. It shows in this fight that the ring and rules really suit his style.

Hope they make that fight with Aoki.
