This was the last fight on his contact ... I also noticed that sakkibarra must of been there too because I saw a photo of him Posing with vitor .
I would love to see Fedor have one more fight in Japan and retire.
I will be honest I was mixed when it came to Fedor unretiring yeah It was great he got this far at the same time the Pedro Rizzo knock out was the perfect ending for him.

A fight on NYE in RIZIN to end his career would be perfect.
So Sakabarra and Vitor were there. Interesting.
I know what you are saying. Would love to see him go out with a nice KO win.

They certainly are some of those people it's amazing how they try to change the narrative to fit their agenda example back then the rankings the pride fc heavyweight champion was the top ranked fighter in the division , Fedor had all those "fixed" , fights he had them in his back pocket apparently . Though still to this day can't name which fight was fixed and most importantly why would they fix fights for him? According to their logic oh let's see we have big nog cro cop Ogawa fujita these guys are very popular and we can make a lot of money but nah fuck it will just fix fights for this quiet unassuming pudgy Russian guy.

Fedor first fight with noguiera ... This Fedor would of ran through that bellator tournament.. I hear people say he was only 33 that's your prime for heavyweights .... I guess this thing called mileage and accumulation of damage is all bull shit apparently yep because 33 mma fights in a decade the Sambo on top of that and judo matches do it since 10-11 years old.
Don't these people realise that a lot of mma fighters competed in other combat sports that also can take a lot out of person.
I have seen the same thing said about Aldo his only 30 etc it doesn't matter if you are heavyweight or any weight if you're not on top after you hit 30 you were never that good.

Yeah, he fought the best of his era that's for sure and he beat them all. Even the former UFC champions he beat.

Not saying Fedor should keep fighting (though I'll watch), or that he should have won or anything.
But he was hesitating. He didn't attack like he normally has.
I think he was weary of the takedowns.
He was laying back and waiting. Worse yet, he laid back and waited with his hands down.
He was like a +350 underdog, and the odds makers usually get it right. It was going to be a bit upset if he won.
Fedor is not the same Fedor of old by a long shot. He can still fight, but he is way past his prime, and probably won't have a win against a top-level world class fighter again at this stage.
That may have been his last fight, and probably had ought to be. But it isn't like I have any control over that.
Here's one out of left field. If he wants to fight again, why not fight Tito Ortiz, lol.

Agreed. Ortiz fight is cool or retirement. I kind of want to see Fedor hang them up about now.

So much for their theory of the tournament being fixed for Fedor he Is the goat 38-6-0-1 10 , years undefeated streak 10-1 in title matches .
I would love to see him fight Mirko or rampage before he retires.
Still the fact that he got to the finals is amazing for a man who is over 10 years past his best.
It might sound like an excuse realistically Ryan Bader had the advantages right from the beginning he was the youngest guy He hasn't taken as much damage as the other fighters .
Though the Fedor who pounded noguiera into the matt would in my opinion would have won
But still.
Congrats to Bader no excuses he won fair and square
Got that right. It was fixed so he could get knocked out in the finals. That makes sense.
The zombies will have a field day but it's a shallow one cause he still made it to the finals, beat two former UFC fighters along the way, and beat five former UFC Champions which you can't take away.
Bader deserves his moment but if there is an excuse it was that Fedor's chin clearly isn't what it once was cause that would never happen in his prime and along with the Hendo loss, we saw in his recent fights with Maldonado, Mitrione, and Mir that his chin isn't what it once was.
It's sad in many ways cause you can't help but wonder what if he did win? Possible title matches against Cro Cop and Kharitonov would've been great and a Minakov fight would've been absolutely epic and easily one of the biggest of all time.
At least he beat Mir and sonnen can you imagine if he lost to them? Especially the shit they Said over the years.

Definitely. Not only that but look at how Mir beat Nog twice and Cro Cop while Sonnen was becoming a PRIDE Hunter with wins over Shogun, Wanderlei, and Rampage. He lost bad in the finals but those two wins and making it as far as he did made this comeback worth it.

That definitely would be the case if they were in different orgs. It would be a great fight in my opinion. I could see either one of them taking a decision win. Would love to see this fight. I'd be pulling for Bader to finish DC.

^^ exactly that's their go to thing when was the last time they said the ufc guy is better because
A skill sets
B competition
C similar opponents
A Impossible because someone will always have a skill they are better at
B the ufc might be the big promotion but they also have people no one has heard of people don't put things in perspective.
C well Chuck beat wand wand beat Keith Keith beat Chuck rampage chuck wand rampage. So many examples .
I have no qualms people saying dc will win I personally think he would but difference is you won't see me go oh oh dc will smash Bader because his in the UFC and uh uh yeah that's it."
