Why go to so much trouble to rig things for one fighter? Fedor is a legend but what does Bellator get from it and the ramifications of doing that is too huge.

Yeah, he looks really good. I read he might be sick or injured but that could just be rumors. It has been a nice run and great seeing the GOAT back in the cage winning again.

Exactly, it doesn't make sense.

I read that ESPN is not covering this Bellator main event with the greatest fighter of all time on it. Would be nice if the world wide leader in sports covered the sport of MMA, rather than just the brand of UFC.

That is what I was hoping for, both a GP belt and a HW belt. Yeah, they both suit the last emperor very well.

I would love to see him fight Mirko or rampage before he retires.

Still the fact that he got to the finals is amazing for a man who is over 10 years past his best.

It might sound like an excuse realistically Ryan Bader had the advantages right from the beginning he was the youngest guy He hasn't taken as much damage as the other fighters .

Though the Fedor who pounded noguiera into the matt would in my opinion would have won

Got that right. It was fixed so he could get knocked out in the finals. That makes sense.

The zombies will have a field day but it's a shallow one cause he still made it to the finals, beat two former UFC fighters along the way, and beat five former UFC Champions which you can't take away.

Bader deserves his moment but if there is an excuse it was that Fedor's chin clearly isn't what it once was cause that would never happen in his prime and along with the Hendo loss, we saw in his recent fights with Maldonado, Mitrione, and Mir that his chin isn't what it once was.

It's sad in many ways cause you can't help but wonder what if he did win? Possible title matches against Cro Cop and Kharitonov would've been great and a Minakov fight would've been absolutely epic and easily one of the biggest of all time.

^^ vadim is the number one contender at light heavyweight be an interesting Match Up ^^ if vadim wins he sort of Avengers Fedor cause Fedor is his trainer. To be honest I think minakov will hold the belt by the end of the year .

I have another gripe I as I'm sure most here are 99.99℅ certain that these other "mma sites" , work for the UFC.

I'm sure many have noticed when they write about Fedor is they shit like He didn't fight the best in the UFC the best in the UFC were Tim Sylvia Andrei arlovski frank Mir he beat all 3 in one round .

People can say I'm paranoid you can't tell me that the these other mma sites aren't trying to rewrite history as they see fit 2000-2007 Pride fc was the biggest promotion on the planet not the UFC .

Oh, there's definitely been rewriting history. Whenever PRIDE is brought up, they always say it was number one in Japan and seem to act like UFC was an equal when it wasn't. When you also look at certain fighters in that time, writers act like they were the best when they fought in the number 2 promotion.

It's definitely frustrating given Fedor fought in the number one promotion in his prime and who in the UFC was he supposed to fight to "prove himself"? I remember when he had to fight Lesnar who bottomed out in less than ten fights. I remember it was supposed to be Carwin despite Carwin only having two good wins and bottoming out in less than fifteen fights. Then Velasquez who was supposed to be the greatest despite facing the same two opponents for three years and spending years on the shelf due to injuries.

Also, again. If Fedor fought fake fights then name me one. I haven't heard a single opponent say they lost to him on purpose.

Sucks Fedor lost the way he did but he is still the GOAT. He is just not prime Fedor anymore. He had a nice run to the finals.
