Sergei tells Dana & Lorenzo to go F*** themselves

Looks like Sergei told Dana & Lorenzo to take their contract offer & shove it where the sun don't shine. As the other orgs we watch all over the world continue to grow, this will only happen more often. I don't think it will be hard for M-1, KSW, One FC, etc. to offer 100K++ for good UFC names.

Sergei says they offered him '3 times less" than he's currently making and has offers on the table for. Plus, Sergie's been able to fight 4 times in a little over a year with current situation and fight in boxing or kickboxing. Who the F*** would give that up to fight 1.2 times in the next year for 1/3 of the money and miss out on 3 more fights that pay 3 times UFC money???

All fighters need to start taking whatever offers are best for them. Who cares about fighting in the ufc just because it's the ufc?

I'd rather see all of them doing that, not only euro or asians. MMA needs go be global, and if americans (and us) start going their way instead of signing abusive contracts to go into the easy way, it would be great too.

Zuffa's mismanagement, the majority of boring fights, product oversaturation, the casuals starting to tune out and the injuries/dropouts starting to pile up eventually take their toll, despite Zuffa PR saying otherwise and still weighing heavy on fighters and fans alike. The UFC name will become a joke soon enough.

Remember that his first fight was vs Werdum, i don't know how you can say that he is protected.

I disagree. Hunt is almost unknown to the casual fan and giving him a title shot wouldn't make much business sense (especially since the first thing fans would see is his record). If Hunt keeps winning he WILL get a title shot. JDS is the perfect stylistic matchup for him and he'd probably win. The only thing that concerns me is if he went up against a sub specialist like Werdum.

Good for Sergei and even better for Global-MMA

IMO he better be free agent. He has only Aleks as a great fight there, and possibly the champion. I honestly rather see Sergei spreading terror throughout the whole sport.

M-1 needs Sergei more than other promotions right now and I´m sure they would find him good competition. Sergei is one of the biggest russian superstars in the sport and could fill arenas in Russia.

I don't really see why Sergei would take the deal.

Doubt Sergei will sign with M-1 because we all know that M-1 and GG don't have good relations. Plus, I don't think Sergei respects M-1's management. but you never know what may happen.
