Couldn't make it for this one. Wish I could have saw it. Cool to see Yokota, Kitaoka, and Nakanishi got the wins.

Kitaoka was just on a completely different level than Miyazaki, what I worried the most about what would happen to the winner of the LWGP. Miyazaki shows tremendous potential but it was just far too early in his career for a match-up like Kitaoka. Kitaoka/Hirota II looks to be next, while Miyazaki should get someone like Kishimoto on the rebound.
I was surprised that Yokota didn't have his way with Tsuda. It seemed to have been a good match for him but Yokota is still vulnerable to the same problems that plagued him at 155. He's still got a lot of work to do as the incumbent best featherweight in JMMA. After Nagakura, I don't know what's next for Yokota.
Nakanishi blew through with ease, no surprise here and it was needed after his recent streak of fights. I'd like to see Kazuhiro Nakamura challenge him for the belt after he gets back on track. Maybe even a rematch with M'Pumbu, if Bellator decides to let him go.
Otsuka/Osawa II was the biggest surprise of the night, imo. Not as much with the result as it was with how damn fun this fight was. Sucks to see Osawa go out on a loss, but I completely understand his decision. I thought he could've given 145 one more shot. Really glad Otsuka regained the belt and I hope he gets a good amount of defenses in. He would've had a great first challenger in Kanehara, if all went to plan. As of now, I like Otsuka against Yusaku Nakamura and Hiroshi Nakamura in the meantime. Hopefully DJ.taiki comes back soon.
Okuno did what you expected and that's go out on his shield. Unfortunately, his exciting pace of fight isn't the brightest idea and paid for it against a solid prospect in Yuta Watanabe. I see the UFC pillaging him soon. Until then, there's the possibility of Shirai and maybe cross promotional superfights.
Kanehara just made a massive blunder and it puts his respective win streak at an end, a shame really. Kanehara beats Kitada 9/10 times and I hope DEEP doesn't change their plans with Kanehara radically. They should try talking Seiya Kawahara out of retirement to get a great fight following this debacle and have someone immediately ready for a title shot.
Hirota looked sharp against a game Daisuke and should find himself champion again soon. Kwon's finish was fantastic. Ishibashi had a solid performance against watchlister Sota Kojima. Hamamura continues his resurgence at 155 and could find himself in a high profile fight next time around.

I was surprised by Otsuka as well, congrats to the new champ.
Okuno vs. Watanabe was definitely the best fight of the event!
And I'll be looking forward to Kitaoka VS. Hirota II.
