Moraes and Dantas are pretty equal. There common opponent is Tyson Nam and Moraes took him out and Dantas was KO'd by him.
That's cool MMA math but that doesn't discount anything I stated in my previous post. According to the G-MMA rankings Dantas is the better fighter right now.
He will be getting no 2 spot but moraes could take it back with an impressive win

So if moraes ko's rettinghouse this march 29 and wins the title Dantas jumps him? How? Don't like it cd
Anthony leone was a 13-7 late replacement is not like dudu beat the world champ!
Moraes is going against rettinghouse 10-2 young stud who dominated Alexis Vila in his last fight
I think if Dantas takes the 2 spot and then if Moraes has an impressive win he can get it back. They might also pass up Bibi here soon.
Rettinghouse isn't ranked in the G-MMA top 15 so why should Moraes get such a boost if he wins?
He is a solid opponent and if the win is dominant he may take the spot back. If he grinds out a weak decision prob not

Just some flyweight and below updates for those that are interested:
Rambaa Somdet has withdrawn from his upcoming bout due to injury. Very unfortunate considering this would've been his second fight in six months, which gave hope that he was giving MMA one last serious shot.
Nobita Naito won again at the last Shooto event, this time over Yuki Shojo. The win will undoubtedly move Naito forward as he continues his meteoric rise at 115.
Movement a plenty at 125, after the last ONE card, as both Kojima and Urushitani were defeated by previously unranked opponents. The victors, Adriano Moraes and Andrew Leone, will both be ranked in next month's edition.
Upcoming Fights:
125:
Kiyotaka Shimizu x Atsushi Yamamoto for the Super Flyweight King of Pancrase belt.
Yuki Motoya x Masakazu Imanari at BANTAMWEIGHT

He would have been top 10 - top 12 with a win but was a great performance by Cooper.

Also, the rankings will be updated but there won't be the Summary of Updates write up next month or probably the month after. Been a busy couple of months. Will still have all the removals listed, ranking rules, rankings updated, and everything else though but just no update summary.

That Palhares sub was great. I was hoping to see that. I think you're right, number 2 spot for Palhares.
Moraes will probably move back to the number 2 spot.
Burkman will move up one behind Carl who has a win over him.
It was a nice dominant performance and sub win for Okami.
Was a solid night of fights for WSOF.

Dantas just got a sub of the year candidate over a top 15 and yet you say you'll let Moraes keep number 2 after being unable to finish the most finishable unranked opponent WSOF could've given him and going to a play it safe decision?
Dantas should be #2 for April.

It is there recent common opponent they both have that gives Moraes the return to number 2. They both fought Nam not long ago and Nam KO'd Dantas and Moraes KO'd Nam. As these two continue to have fights they can both keep jumping each other for the number 2 spot. Moraes put a beat down on him yesterday.

I agree. Not Tyson Nam...Dantas could retake the 2 spot with his next win. It was probably just a ploy but at least WSOF offered the Morases/Dantas fight and Bjorn didn't respond so I guess they can keep swapping positions and possibly take the number 1 and number 2 spot soon.

Dude CD47 you said multiple times in this thread that Dantas would move up if Moraes didn't get a spectacular finish..
