Love Barnett but he allbut gave Browne the most effective position to work from...
You heard Browne talk about watching how overeem used the cage fir his muaythai clinch and tho reem still hurt him their no doubt he was working on that position.watching gonzaga fight you could see the leverage browned lanky body lends to him.
Josh made the mistake of diving in right against the cage and Browne just lined him up and unleashed.
Rousey fight was surprising only because Tate was able to escape some excellent armbar attempts only to succumb to the armbar eventually but fun fight.
Silva oh Silva lmfao
I'm sure some zuffa asses will day you never know Anderson was starting to open up when his leg broke LOL......
No weidman was getting Silva's timing down,so much so that Silva couldn't land even his little knee attacks and leg kicks ended up biting him in the ass.
Weidman simply outclassed the fake goat completely and was on his way to finishing Silva IMO.

The elbows were fine, and as much of a Barnett fan I am, those were all legal.

Heard Barnett say "I fancy my self to be pretty good with knee strikes, so the fact that Overeem put him on the floor with one, I think that favors well to me."
Seems like he tried to "Overeem" Browne, but those Uberknees are something else.

Yeah seems like he was out. I think Silva should've retired after their first fight, the way he was saying how he was tired and actually seemed kind of happy to be done fighting. If you're mentally not in the fight (and maybe even physically), you're gonna get hurt.

Anderson Silva getting Corey Hill'd was the MMA gods way of saying his time is up. The only time he didn't look tired last night was when he was screaming in pain. I think he no longer gives a shit. Goodbye Anderson. Your zuffa hype train just got deralied.

^ LOL. If there's one person who knows about a hockey stick shaped leg, it is Sid Vicious. Good to see he's welcoming Silva to the club. Classy guy.

Part of the arm/elbow hits the back of the head. Browne shouldn´t be allowed to throw these strikes, especially since 12-6 elbows are illegal. Browne is a dirty fighter and I want to see him getting knocked out cold.AudaxSmoke wrote:

Legal elbow strikes from Browne. Good win for him. That's his new signature move. I always thought fighters should use this more. Feijao and Browne are the best at it.

What´s the difference between Brownes elbows and illegal 12-6 elbows and where does the back of the head begin in your opinion? Disgusting technique from Browne, I can´t believe you like that.CDF47 wrote:Legal elbow strikes from Browne. Good win for him. That's his new signature move. 12-6 is top to bottom, with a direct downward angle. Browne's were more like 2-8.

The way Browne stands it becomes a top to bottom movement towards the head. This shit shouldn´t be legal.eXtv wrote:KSW wrote:What´s the difference between Brownes elbows and illegal 12-6 elbows and where does the back of the head begin in your opinion? The no 12-6 elbow rule is stupid to begin with. And I like Browne's technique, it will prevent guys from stalling against the cage fishing for a takedown.

if this is ok then why not allow soccer kicks and knees because those elbows to me make the sport look far more brutal
you cant pick and choose which rules u like the most..... some of those elbows were probably legal but i bet a good few landed illegally

Seems like he tried to "Overeem" Browne, but those Uberknees are something else.
Warmaster obviously skipped watching the gonzaga fight for the overeem fight LOL.
It wasn't him kneeing that did him in it was the predictable takedown.
Josh thought he would power through but really he put his head right in the line of fire ouch.
I thought the elbows were legal I like them keeps things interesting against the cage......no more wall n stall LOL.

12-6 is where the elbow is lifted straight in the air and dropped straight down to the head (like in Jon Jones vs. Hamill fight where there was a DQ).
These were not 12-6.
The back of the head is behind the ears and up. There is a picture of it somewhere defining the back of the head. The Unified Rules describe it. I think these shots were clean and are a good weapon in MMA that should be used more.
